Week 8: Comm & Collab Early Childhood EDUC 6165

Professional Thanks & Support

I would like to take this time to give thanks to Dr. Williams and all my colleagues for their help and support in this Communication & Collaboration course.

All of your wisdom and knowledge that you have shared through out this course has been a meaningful and learning experience for me as a professional.

I would like to congratulate us all on our hard work and
dedication in furthering our education and supporting the many children and families in the field of early childhood.

This course has helped me to understand that “knowing ourselves will help us to become better” communicators and build better relationships with others.

take from this course understanding  that “different cultures teach
different values” (O’Hair, Wiemann, Mullin, & Teven, 2015, p.
25).

In order for us to be successful professionals we need to
realize that “communication requires mindfulness, respect for
others, and accurate perceptions of situations” (O’Hair, WiemannMullinTeven, 2015, p.43).

Thank you all again, good luck

and best wishes in your future endeavors.
