Week: 3 My Personal Childhood Web

Week: 3
                                                    My Personal Childhood Web

This post is about the people in my life who nurtured me, cared about me, and loved me.

                                                               My Nana and Pepop

These two people are the greatest supporters in my life they are my heart and soul my peace and joy,
they are my grandparents  Nana and Pepop they are the people in my life who have nurtured and loved me.  Ever Since I was five years old I lived in the same house as my grandparents they lived upstairs and I lived downstairs.  My parents worked night hours so my grandparents were our guardians.  I  remember when I was young  my Nana would come home from work and the first thing she would ask all the kids was " did you do your homework!"  She would make us take out our homework and lay it on the table and tell my aunt to check over it.  If you had too many mistakes on your homework papers my grandmother would tear it up and make you do it all over again. :(  Nana taught me to always do my best and nothing less, she was a hard worker that inspired me to make her proud.  My grandfather was my best friend growing up!  He is a wise man that always took care of his family, Pepop is friendly, kind and taught all his grandchildren to show respect and have manners.  My Pepop is now 80 years old and would give you the shirt off his back to anyone if they need it.  He always told me to do my best, never give up and go as far as my education will take me in this life. :)

                                                                My Brother and Sisters

The Five Heart Beats is what we call ourselves, this is me and my siblings they are the people in my life who show that they care about me and love me.  It has been a blessing to grow up with these wonderful people, always having someone to talk to and play with is what I really enjoyed as a child. There was never a dull moment in my grandparents house with 5 kids; constantly running and jumping, screaming and yelling, singing and dancing;) we had fun growing up. There was also fighting, arguing, and even crying but I would not change anything about them in the world, they are my first friends.  My siblings influence me to good in my life and be a good role model because  they were always watching me and looking up to me as their older sister.  I had to always try and make good choices and do my best so they would do their best.  Yes, I am the oldest out of all five of us however I look the youngest :) ha ha ha!  My brother is the youngest with the biggest heart, I remember when we was in middle school he always tried to look after us and scare boys away from our front porch. :/ ha ha!  That was funny we thank him when we see those boys now ;)  My sisters are always there for me they are my biggest supporters.  They really help me out when ever I may need anything especially a shoulder to cry on or an ear just to listen, that is the most special feeling.  My sibling  are always by my side to help push when I need to be pushed and encourage me to do what makes me happy. The best part of our relationship is that we care and love each other and they are always right there when I need them and that alone means the world to me.

                                                                  My Best Friend Sara

Sara is my best friend and I have know her ever since we were 14 years old freshman in high school, about 22 years ago. :) Wow 22 years ago sounds long but it seems just like yesterday we were in high school and our parents were signing us up for driving school;)  Even though I did not know Sara as a child it seems like we knew each other forever.  Sara and her family were such good friends to me and my family, I remember we would spend the night over each other houses and stay up all night talking and laughing while looking through pictures from our year book.;) The good O days!!  Sara influenced my life when we was growing up because she was smart, positive and made good choices.  We inspired each other to live the best life, love everyone in our life, and laugh at what life throws at us.  Sara is a real true friend to me because she took the time to get to know me and understand me, even my crazy side. ;)  We have a special bond and built a loyal, trustful, healthy, positive friendship.  She always motivated and inspired me to be my best self as a adolescent and even now as an adult.  Sara is Godmother to my daughter and my daughter actually calls her Auntie Sara, that's how much love and support she shows us. :)  I am also the Godmother to her 3 beautiful children and they also call me Auntie Nikki :) I love them so much we made ourselves officially family members ;)  After all these years Sara continues to motivate and inspire me to be a good person, mother, friend, and future wife.  Sara and I do not see each other often because we are both busy working parents but when we do see each other it is always good fun times.

These wonderful people in my life have all influenced me in many helpful ways, they have made a positive impact on my life not only as a child but as a growing adult. I want to thank them all for being who they are and taking the time to show me that they care about me and my future. ;)

Week 2: Uploading Peronal and Professional Information

Week 2: EDUC 6005 Foundations: Early Childhood Studies.
My favorite quote is "Teachers Change The World One Child At A Time".
My favorite children's book is I Love You Forever by Robert Munsch. This is my favorite book because it illustrates how a mother shows just how much she loves her son and is will sing to him and rock him to sleep every night no matter how old her son may get. This book illustrates a mother's love for her son and a son's love for his mother. I always cry at the end when the mom gets too old to pick up her son and rock him to sleep but the son returns the favor and pick up his mom and rocks her to sleep. :) I think this book sends a message that says no matter your age your parents will always look at you as their small innocent child.
